Facts of the town, Ashland in Oregon? - ashland shakespeare
I come from Japan and a student in Ashland, Oregon this month.
And I want to know more about the city.
Ashland is a safe city? I take a walk alone at night. Is it possible to go to shopping on foot at night alone? Or should I go shopping during the day?
Are there shopping malls and supermarkets in the vicinity of the University of Oregon in the south? For example, a Costco or Safeway?
If possible, could you please direct me to the airport in Medford, Southern Oregon University? I have no idea how to get there when I make a trip to, say, San Francisco or Las Vegas made. Is there such a mode of transportation such as bus or a shuttle bus to the airport? Or a taxi?
And if you do not mind, could you tell me more about Ashland? Festival (for example, Shakespeare?)
Ashland All information is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help! :-)

Ashland is a town is small enough. If you're used to the big city, then you are in a drastic change. I do not remember that there is a Costco there, but there is a Safeway about two miles from the university. Alberton There is also a very close (like a Safeway is). Look Tolman Creek Road Ashland Street (about a mile from the university), and there are few places to go around there. It is a half hour drive from the airport in Medford at the university. They are a journey of five hours three major cities. Five hours northeast of Portland, Oregon. Five hours after the South are Sacramento, CA and San Francisco.
ReplyDeleteThe airport in Medford to the north in the 5 freeway north (highway that goes all the way from Seattle to San Diego). These are the exact addresses of the university to the airport: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=Southern+Oregon+University, 1250 + + Siskiyou Blvd, Ashland + + O & & Medford Airport daddr = & sll = 42.18794, -122.685485 & sspn = 0.009206,0.023518 & ie = UTF8 & ll = 42256,475, -122.744751 & spn = 0.294255,0.752563 & t = h & z = 11 & om = 1
I've never been to the Shakespeare Festival, but as far as I know, only produce works from February to October, which were written by Shakespeare.
I definitely recommend walking in the night there. Thanks to its small size a very safe city and you can see all the stars in the sky.
